All CoD Server Admins

Server Admins,

I've read the post about the Wallhack, but didn't even bother reading the other 2 pages of posts about this Wallhack problem, or about how it will affect League play, and how low society has gotten with MP cheating. But... I do have these words of wisdom:

Call of Defeat has done a great thing by including the KillCam. If there are experienced players, the KillCam can definitely be used to identify Wallhacking and Aimbots. By REMOVING the KillCam the honest gaming community is defeating themselves by removing an Anti-Cheat tool that has been made available by Activision!

I understand that during tournaments and/or league play, the KillCam will assist the opposing team by pinpointing the enemy. BUT... IF there is a timer placed on the KillCam, how long it will stay active, then maybe a second after the kill was scored, the cam will automatically go to a FORCED SPEC on your own team. This would reduce the amount of time a player has to relay needed information to his teammates via VoiceChat. I do understand that this will be a disadvantage, but the opposing team WILL be able to do the same... essentially evening the playing field.

I don't know if something like this is possible, but I'm sure someone could come up with an AdminMod that would allow something of that nature. Whether it's Activision that will be able to provide something like that, or if it's the Mod Community.

The League/Tournament Community WILL be able to adapt, they always have... When Punkbuster first came out, the League/Tourney Community didn't want to use PB because it created extra lag and was cumbersome to use, but they ended up using it anyways.

The Community WILL learn to adapt, so I ask that CoD Server Admin do not remove KillCam from their servers, let the CoD Community adapt to having to deal with being spec'd for a few seconds. By the time that the dead opposing player relays the needed information, the victor has already moved to a new location (if he's smart) and if he's good, it won't even matter.

i agree, dont get rid the kill cam, and as a matter of the fact let them find out where u are, that way u dont have to search the map for a fight any way

u dont necessarily have to completely remove it from the game but if only they give u an option to turn it on and off

I was on a server tonight..clan server..they were blantley cheathing..Kill cam was off of course. Someone asked them to enable it so they could tell if they were cheating.Of couse they just laughed. so i just left.. I Have to Agree..Keep Kill CaM ON it is the best anti cheat weapon there is.

I pmed u this. I would never accuse someone without absoulte proof...that said..i of course can play elsewere,there are plenty of servers with quality players out there...i been playing online since Doom..and got a good feel for what is possiable and what is not. I mean i have seen some freaking players that were so good that they would get accused of cheating all the time. If your not..u just kinda take it as a compliment i guess?
Anyway Death Cam is the Best Defense against Cheaters
