I think that the main difference between Brothers In Arms and Call of Duty (with the exception of somewhat different gameplay) is going to be a majorly improved graphics engine, although I have yet to find out for sure.

I have heard from a reliable source that the Quake 3 engine has been dumped completely and IW has purchased licsence rights for the Doom 3 engine and they are building a game engine from the ground up with the use of some of the Doom 3 code along with the Havoc physics engine from HL2 for COD2, understand it is just something I have heard and no concrete evidence has been released yet, but if it is true we will have D3 quality graphics mixed with HL2 physics, that would ROCK!!!! And from the previews I have read COD2 is going in a direction that will knock BIA off it's feet possibly for good.

Well thats about the most ignorant thing I have heard, Half-Life was nothing new when Half-Life 2 won game of the year.

Thats pretty ignorant fo you to say that.
...Did you even read my post? I said Call of duty (CoD), what makes you think that I'm saying that, because CoD is not new, CoD2 won't be Game of the Year? I'm not.

I have played brothers in arms for xbox and it was entertaining yet i still love my CODUO :). the gameplay in COD is much smoother and in BiA it is too hard to aim well. Just my opinion :)

Multiplayer:
BiA max of 2v2
COD+COD:UO max of 32v32

That's saying something.

Single player of BiA is AWESOME... For a while, then the novelty wears off and you realise why you never hit anything... You try it online once and after 5 mins you leave.

TBH the only similarity between them is WWII, they are different types of games.

But if I had to, UO wins by miles.

Myself I would vote Brothers in Arms, its single player is something special in own ways:

You dont actually do "anything important", like capture Berlin, or steal Enigma codes and do other herostuff, and thats why the SP is quite realistic as you dont do something "heroic" in the game, and also that it has it own aspect. The cover system (that if you are behind obstacle, and your elbow is only visible and someone shoots to it, it wont hit, but if you put your head up and then someone shoots you, you notice soon that youre lying on the ground) is also very well made, makes it alot diffrent than CoD and MoH style shooting ranges (yes, even CoD has movie-style aspect and MoH is just fun, they still are mostly shooting ranges). Also when you turn all possible helps off from BiA, you actually get a feeling you are there, also the characters were unbeliavably well made, like I did myself like the Coles charge in the one mission (CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEE!), where he did ran in middle of heavy enemy fire leading people to fight, and also there were some really funny moments, like the how they welcome enemy Airborne way, and also BiA has alot of good moments in game.

But as for multiplayer, it is fun with some friend. Public games wont work so well but it is really fun with a friend, and one good reason is that it is original. Atleast you dont need to write in team say that why people are so stupid and dont do that and that and that and that lbalbalbla, you simply command your AI team and they dont whine and do stupid things

CoD is good game in many ways, but I like BiA more.

There both very diffrent games. However, you run extremely slow in Bia. I mean Bia was o-k but not as fun as I thought.
