cant play sp after 1.4 patch

after applying 1.4 patch sp no longer works any body know why this would happen?

well, for me, the SP goes until 1.3

MP goes till 1.4

try uninstalling 1.4 and then reinstall it. other wise, post it in here. http://www.gamingforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=705

I can play Singleplayer with 1.4 installed fine. I wonder what is wrong. It could be a rougue mod or eg. Service Pack 2 that is causing the problem.

I have the same problem. I reinstalled the original version (and yes it is store bought), played fine, then upgraded to 1.4, then Single player doesn't work. Keeps prompting for the CD.. Put the cd in the drive, both D1 & D2... its driving me nuts. This is the third time I have tried to upgrade to 1.4....

with service pack 2, u must of blocked some of Call of Duty's features that alliows you to play....
