I am rather new to operating a dedicated server for CoD and was hoping I could gain some oppinions as to what seems to be the most prefered style of gameplay? Any mods that are popular among players? What are some oppinons in regard to admin tools currently available? I have plenty of bandwidth so that shouldn't be an issue. (dual DS3 lines). Thanks in advance for any pointers that more seasoned admins and players might be able to offer!

You might want to check out www.codadmin.com for admin tools, just browse the sight, you will want to get the rcon guide. Thats one thing you can check out, I think there also might be info about setting up a server there also, not sure.
Thanks Angel...I actually already have the server set up, and have also set up stats tracking on it. (details at my site linked via my sig). I was just wondering about others oppinions on which ones are better than others. I have also been checking out COD Admin as well. Thanks for the tips! I should have mentiond that the server was functional already. Sorry.

Try Something that adds medics.
Nade cooking and mobile MG42s are always fun.
On my server i have The stuka mod. (planes fly over and drop bombs)

Thanks for the advice! Ill keep an eye out for some good mods! I have been trying out "Heat of Battle" and "PRM Realism Mod"...going to sort through all these options and see what I like.
I am going to try and get together a game of "vanilla" CoD this evening at our server as sort of a kick off for our new server. No mods yet, just regular CoD. All are welcome! Hope to see some of you there!

Tactical realism is always a fun game. if you want a taste, go to the 82nd Airborne or the 1ss/sf servers. its amazing, and requires a whole ton of teamwork to get passed the first 30 seconds of the round.
don't listen to praetorian TDM sucks. My favorite is Headquaters because you have to work together to find, capture, and protect the radio. But he is right on that stuka mod. That is awsome if you ever play with it. One server I played had a mod where if u camped for 30 sec. morters homed in on you. Portable MG's are good 2.
