Chinese promotional items I recently purchased a Chinese verion of Call of Duty (completely in English except for the box and manual) that came with some promotional dog tags only for the Asian version. I can't find anything at all about these on the web. It also came with a paper tag about 3 times the size of the others that looks very much like an order form for personalized tags. Except I can't read it, it's in Chinese too. Does anybody have any info about any of this, or even just a link where I can translate Chinese characters to English? |
Re: Chinese promotional items Don't rip off the gaming industry. China has the largest market for retail fraud in the world. |
Re: Chinese promotional items It's all legit, it was just the cheapest one on ebay. There's nothing about it that throws up a red flag in regards to legitimacy vs. piracy. We could get into an entire discussion about who's shortchanging who in the case of a $50 game that provides around 10 hours of play (not necessarily this one), but we won't here. I was merely trying find out if anyone knew of any way I could read the Chinese on it. |
Re: Chinese promotional items You know you got scammed and the guy just wanted to sell it for more money, right? |
