Okay, first a little story. I got CoD when it first came out, played through single player and then a half hour of multiplayer before promptly uninstalling it. I thought it was going to be really realistic after I heard all the new features. Well, it turned out to be like MoH with iron sights and I was disgusted. Then, just two weeks ago I installed it again, just to see what this HoB mod was. Well, I went from hating this game to playing an hour a day with it. Too bad you can't play the single player with the mod, I absolutely hate the lack of realism. =(

This signature unintentionally left unfunny.

I love HoB. It's the best mod I have ever played. The only problem I have with it is trying to get my damn teammates to help me cap. Usually I find myself alone at an objective calling desperatly for reinforcements while holding off the enemy team.

If I download the Heat of Battle mod for CoD, do I need to play in certain servers that allow the HoB mod only or can I play in any server with the HoB mod installed?

Yeah the HoB staff is doing a great job. IW should incorporate HoB's gameplay as an official CoD gametype.

Ok thanks, I've been playing the HoB mod for a day now and its awesome but I have one question.

I can join the official server for HoB and get in fine but sometimes when it goes to new maps; it takes forever and then disconnects. I don't have this problem with the regular CoD so why is it doing it with HoB?

Can someone help me?

PS - I have the HoB map pack.

-Thanks in advance

I've never had that problem with HoB... Try searching through their forums to see what you can find on the problem. Very few times in the computer world, are you the only one the have a problem.

Do you think if I tried re-installing CoD and HoB, then maybe it might solve my problem? I might later re-install them.
