COD expansion?
 

I've heard that there is a COD expansion comming out but I couldn't find any reputible information. Does anyone know for sure if it will be for pc, and when it should be out?

I havent heard the news of an expansion, and im positive it will be for PC, being that the game as far as i know of is only on PC.

ive heard of a Call of Duty:Finest Hour for X-Box, PS2 and Gamecube, dont kno about PC tho, it was in the december issue of Game Informer magazine

good, i was hoping that they wouldnt have an expansion out yet. we dont want another mohaa here where they throw out poor expansions like they are going out of style

There IS going to be an expansion. (semi-official inside sources). but Activision is not releasing any details. However, because it is an EXPANSION PACK, its obvious that it is for the PC platform.

a program on Sky One "gamezville" told everyone that the makers of CoD were in the process of making an expansion pack, but werent sure when it would be released, but to watch this space !! :D

Well, with Deductive Reasoning, one can conclude that Call of Duty will feature many expansions to come.

Reason # 1:

Call of Duty is owned by EA, the makers of Medal of Honor, a game series featuring many expansions across many of the theatres of World War II.

Reason # 2:

A game such as Call of Duty has a long shelf life.

Reason # 3:

Businesses love money.

Hi guys,

EA Games have released information that the COD expansion was under construction after the first week of sale, as COD made such a big lot of money.

It is definate that they are releasing it, and is approximately 2 months from now. They will not tell us the name of the expansion. They have not thought of one yet!

I am sure, and its expected to tip the scale at $132.50 AU! Pretty tough, if you ask me, EA Gamers! Don't want to imagine how many gamers are gonna upload this game of the net for cheaper...hundreds probably.

COD Expansion boasts such updates that will make MP easier, and a whole new story mode for SP. MP probs have been fixed, including the prob with the BAR in American MP, where the sound is out of sync with the action when you reload (where he taps the bottom of the barrel to lock the cartridge in place).

The also fixed problems when moving and firing, when in scope mode. Many rumours have also gone round that COD is changing to a whole new interface and game, skill wise. Many people believe that skill comes with kills, and, rumour says, EA games are gonna make it skill-based. This means that the more kills and adverage kills you get, the better your aim is, standing and crouching.

E.g. my average kill is 4. This means that the scope will wobble famously when standing, not dead-straight. However, if my average is 144, then the gun will hold perfectly still. Another rumour is that this will not deal with the scope...as its way to easy to kill standing up, and the n00bs need some time to shoot the sniper before he blows his head off.
