How to beat the aimbot

Hello everyone, i'm new to the threads but I have played mohaa and now cod for several years. I have quite a bit of experience in defeating cheaters and now that I have myself tried several of the popular aimbots i would like to tell you how to defeat them.

1. Shoot from behind iron fences like in Caretan (by the mg-42 in the window) as aimbots will not lock on through them. I am positive of this with one of the aimbots and near sure on the other. This is key to taking them out.

2. Lay near dead bodies if possible when facing an aimboter. Some of the aimbots will lock onto dead bodies thinking that they are still alive.

3. If you suspect that you are being shot at by an aimboter, run!. The best way to beat them is often just to avoid them. They cant lock onto you if they cant see you.

4. move with a flanking group. The biggest problem that I had when I tested the bots was that when moving in large areas with multiple targets it would often switch between them before it could make a kill, or just jump around periodically from person to person. If a person on one side is being shot, retreat but stay within his view. Strafe and avoid fire while your buddy on the opposite side moves near the boter for the kill.

5. Alert the administrator to anyone that you think has an aimbot. If you are really worried about cheaters find a server that almost always has an admin present and stick with it. Also, never never assume that Sv_pure detects aimbots. I have tried the most popular ones and none of them are detected. The only way to root them out is by hand.

Or watch kill cam/spectate their asses

And I find that there is no NEED to win over cheaters. I play my own game and in that I play well or I suck. Even in a tdm or another teambased game. If people wanna cheat, let them. I play for MY own fun (not that I endorse cheating, but even though there is a cheater playing I just discard his score or something)

night eyes i agree with you, it doesnt matter how everyone else is playing, sometimes I do good sometimes i do bad. It gives me satisfaction when other people cheat becuase they have no life and cant play the game fair. It is like all those people in the Olypics who take drugs, they get caught in the end.

I was using fraps the other day and found an aim botter/ wall hacker

Sorry Daniel it wont be going on CoDFiles.com. I know i have posted one video of someone cheating. But that was just to show people i cant post every cheater caught on the web site.

Its good to know that there are still alot of decent gamers out there who don't want to spoil the experience for others. And there are the *silly* people who get there jollys from cheating by using aimbots and wall hacks. I don't understand these types of gamers, i thought the whole point of playing was to have fun while competing against each other.

another word to the wise, if you see someone type the word "set" with a few words and numbers after it automatically assume they cheat. the cheats are activated inside the game via the console and /set commands. luckily a lot of newbs will forget the backslash and make it obvious that they cheat.
