Anyone get the game today?

So i just recently bought the game and installed it. Tried to play it without the patch installed yet and when the game opened all i received was a black screen. Then i installed the patch and opened the game and it just opened a black screen again. Is anyone else having this problem or knows of any ways to fix it?? It would be much appreciated!

Ok in our last “Possible black screen fix” we were able to get a few more people into the game but not everyone, So we have kept looking around and also trying to force some errors on our PC’s without luck tho.. Anyway here are a few more call of duty world at war black screen solutions (they are possible solutions) we are doing our best to help all you people who are unable to get call of duty world at war to start up correctly.

Firstly.. go into the folder were you installed call of duty world at war:

“Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War Beta\main\video\”

It says beta and the real game seems to have the black screen too.

Shoot, I am not sure. I googled the issue and saw several hits.

Yeah it worked on the real game itself, but then theres the problem of the 1-3 minute wait for mission loads.
