How i can make my nickname animated?
 

Hello.
I was just playing on a server and i saw this guy with nice nickname, which was moving, he has some sort of animation is his nickname, like [nickname]-reloaded, and the reloaded part of nick was appering and disapperingm animating.
Really cool thing, anyone know how to do that ?

search cod files (www.codfiles.com), there is an animated name program there. just download it.

I found this animated name mod, it has color-name.cfg in it and readme.txt
Dunoo why, but this not work for me, i did exectly like readme says and when i press my bind button, nothink happen.
Maybe this work only for cod 1 and not for cod 2 ?
Or does it work for both cod ?

would work for both. If you try again, start your own server up to test. When ingame, press the TAB key to see the scores, then press your bind - your name should animate.

If you still having probs, post what u want to happen with your name, and Ill do one for you.

My problem is, that my game freeze when i hit my bind button, once it was working for me, but latter when i try again, nothink happen, my game just freez and sometime change nick to one of my line in color-name
Dunno why sometimes work, but mostly doesnt work.

looks like you're stuck with it not working for you then. sorry, not much I can do about it I'm afraid. Still, its no big thing is it?

Its not big deal, but i just figured out, that only when i play s&d mod doesnt work wor me, it freeze, for the rest game types works great.

could it be the case sd only lest you change name only once while alive?
i havent really kept an eye out when can you change name in sd, but i'm sure while alive you are only allowed to do it at the start of a round, and maybe this is the case while dead too, name wont change untill round starts

Yes that true, it's change when round starts, but why at the end of game nothink happen, when final scores apper?
Then should work or not ?

just another thought-- if you hit that bind while in game-- youll flood the server with commands-- youll prolly get kicked for command overflow--- and the name animation thing is old hat-- nobody uses it anymore without the possibility of being scrutinized fairly harshly by the sea of noob callers! just be careful!!!
