1 word "bugs"...The problems i've had running this game on both my rigs you wouldn't beleive....it's just lazily coded.

p.s. off topic but does any one know if CoD2 runs well on the new Athlon x2 processors? coz i just bought one.

Bolt Action rifles are perfectly fine, you just know how to play and 'stretch out' the smaller maps.

is that the duel processors? if so there is a patch for that...

ya know its weird--i had the same feelings as sbn-- then i went and played UO for a night and i was sitting there thinking about cod2 the whole time..

the roller messed me up-- in cod2 you really only use the roller to go from a choice of two weapons-( and on mine i use the roller press for the grenades) i was all over the place! needless to say i was playing cod2 before the night was over.

now i play UO for nostalgic reasons every once and again. lots of guys get real disapointed when playing cod2 for the first time or for the first couple weeks or so--- some of the guys out there are very good by now-- its been out for 3 months, and these boys are out for blood and a great score. your noobness only fuels the fire!! i was there- and everybody by definition is a noob when a game comes out, and its very easy to give up on it-and go back to the game you remember so comfortably. this is when you have to beleive in a game--take your licks and learn your lessons--learn the maps-- and take the fight to some guys newer than you!! thats the real revalation-- when you pawn some other guys (it really feels good- i dont have to tell you!!) then your addicted...

1. spawn campers in Mp
2. SP is way to short(i beat it in 2 days)
3. n00b cannons(shotguns)
4. PPSH
5. No flak guns that you can use or panzershreks in MP
6. Mg42 and 30. Cal dont overheat(but on the armoured car escape the cannon does)
7. NO punkbuster or anti-cheat device...ive seen quite few hackers
8. noobs who just stand there in MP
9. SP i always do all the work..i basically get every kill no matter what skill
10. Lindsay Lohan...lmao(family guy)

yeah multiplayer suffers from too many aimbot cheaters but hopefully the patch will fix that...i got through the single player on normal in one day the day i bought the game...was a bit dissapointed by the length of the game but hey ho.

For some reason the mp40 ,mp 44, Sten, Bren ,and the B.A.R. have the same fire rate which is historically inaccurate!! The MP-40 fired at 500 rpm. The MP-44 had 600rpm i think the Sten was around 450rpm and i dont know the Bar's or the Brens but i know it wasnt the same as any of these guns.That and the blatant omition of the p-38(replacement for the luger that most of the german army had) and the fg42 which was the axis counterpart of the bar really grinds my gears

why does cod 2 put in the panzerII? It was a pre-war tank design and was almost completly replaced by 1940.Its gun is wrong it should have a 20mm autocannon not a slow firing tank gun.
The british level where u fight panzer II's was so unrealistic in the afrika campaign they had tigers ,panthers,panzers 3-5,and jadpanzers as well as miles of landmines luftwaffe support and well placed anti-tank guns which terrorified the allies .It baffles me why they added Germany's worst light tank and make it fight a band new british medium tank and why the panzers move so slowly they were only 2kms slower than the Crusader tanks

the panzer 2 was a light tank and was not commonly used in russia especially after the t-34's came out and if was used it was always covered by heavier tanks. again the Germans had a wide varitiy of tanks in russia far more effective than the Panzer II but IW decided they were not important and didnt add them.Iw also thought Russian tanks were unimportant and didnt add them

On another note the Germans in the ost front bombed russia on a daily basis with artillery ,the luftwaffe, and bombs. Yet another thing Cod2 failed to convey althought they did in cod1 and on Coduo .The russian demolition level where u blow up a buliding full of germans is Historically unlikely because the russians would have needed to plan ahead of time to bomb a buliding so they could have gotten their almost non-existant explosives (remember 1941-42 Germany is winning) together so they could attempt to blow that building
it would have been far more accurate to show the germans blowing up a building with russians inside it. Also a timer on the bomb is way too complicated for the soviets during this time it would have been dynamite with a standard visco fuse on it and the bomb is way too clean and perfect the real thing would have looked like a bundle of homless persons rags with a fuse coming out of it
why is there a Panzershriek in the last russian level which i believe takes place in 1943 the Panzershriek wasnt invented till 1944 a panzerfaust any variation would have been accurate.
Sticky bombs if u know anything about german tanks u know that they were designed so that sticky bombs would not stick to them they were coated with something they were also non-magnetic

gotta agree with the stuff about the tanks...what also kinda annoyed me about that is that number 1 you'd think the only tanks the brits used in the afrika campaign were crusaders i mean they had grants and matildas and all sorts! secondly if you look through the files they have skinned winter tigers for the soviet campaign but not included models and stuff just proves this game was rushed.

Lol i found fg-42 skins in cod2 as well many sound files never used in game one being...... "You speak English why dont you ask him" and "those b*stards got the doc"
yeah the tanks they put in are really lame save the tiger of course and the russian levels with the sticky bombs should have had the russian antitank rifle instead but hey its nothing that couldnt be easliy changed by the sdk and tools

theres an fg42 skin and sound in CoD2? where...we'll have to get model made wen the tools come out.
