This makes no sence to me, in COD they had tanks in multiplayer and that was cool but the problem with them was you could see everything around the tank which was not how it would be in a real tank, you could only see out a small hole.
In COD2 they fixed it so you can only see Whats in front of the turret and most of the screen is blocked so you cant see everything. But then they removed the tanks...
WTF? Personally I injoyed the tanks.. hunting them and stuff in PVP

I agree with you. If someone did not want to play a tank map, then there were always other maps playing. I liked the tank maps, it kinda kept the "run-n-gun" mentality in check.... to a small extent.
Maybe they will come out with an expansion pack for CoD2 that will be like CoD UO in that it adds the tanks.
Remember, IW didn't make UO, Gray Matter did. This is CoD2, not CoD:UO2. IW wanted to focus on Infantry combat, and that's what they did with CoD2. If you want vehicles, just wait for the expansion.
Reality? Not every fight of WWII had tanks in it, you know that?
Fairness? WTF.
Remember, not everyone likes tanks and vehicles. I for one don't mind jeeps, but the tank gameplay in UO was fun at first then derived into an easily forseeable slugfest of whoever strikes first, wins, and then gets hit by another tank and dies, thus keeping in line with his 1:1 K/D ratio - then sometimes he hits some infantry and gets some extra kills, and if he really is a tankwhore, he will rape a position that spawns enemies. On... And on... And on...
So I wouldn't really consider putting tanks in a "Fix". I must admit that it's strange that there has not been a sprint or nade-cook feature implemented, though this can and will soon be remedied by the various mods that will doubtless come into production.
Hell, I wouldn't mind a sort of COD2:UO exp. pack since there's always going to be (Well, I'd hope) a cvar to turn tanks/vehicles off, or at least limit the amount available. New weapons and sounds are always fun to play with, and some new gameplay features ie. Sprint, official nade-cook would be nice.
With a little strategy, tanks were very easy to kill. The anti-tank weapons worked very well.
I'll admit, the occasional tank whore that spawn camped was bs, but that was really an issue with very limited spawn points on some maps.... such as Berlin.
I just liked the added fun with other weapons such as tanks and the 88s. But, like it was stated above, IW made this game, not GM. So the game is going to be much different. That's life.
