Help Me Experience The Best
 

Allright guys, I am very very new to BC, and although I was incredibly unsatisfied with the original game, a friend of mine assures me that the Nanofx and modded versions of the game are incredible and, from the screenshots and videos I have seen, it sure looks like it.

Basically, I have only gotten nanofx to work and then installed MAYBE three or four ships, and we're talking like a miranda and an excelsior, nothing really cool like the Borg or Galactica.

So... what I am looking for here is help on what I need to download and how to go about getting this stuff to work for me? So far all my attempts have been disastrous....

Any suggestions?

Well, it kind of depends on if your interested in Multiplayer or not.

I think a must have is the Kobayshi Maru Mod. It incorporates some of the greatest additions, and they would probably take about 2 weeks of searching and downloading to find all them seperately. And it is also the most popular mod to play multiplayer with, aside from the ever popular BC 1.1 (stock version)

I would also suggest, if you're a fan in anyway, that you get the Stargate mod pack.

If you are interested in Single player, I would definately suggest the CG Sovergin, a model of cinematic quality.

I'm not much of a mod person though, these are my favorites. I'm sure that below me will sprout many wonderful and useful ideas :D
