My advice with the 2.50 GHz.. no. Trust me, I have a Celeron D Processor (2.53 Ghz) with 1Gig of ram and the top of the line (for a PCI - YES! PCI!) video card and I can't have 10 ships versus the poor Borg Cube. I say go for the 3.10+ range. If you like Intel, go with the Intel based motherboards (I.E. Intel Pentium 4, ect) or if you like AMD... AMD Athlon, ect.. ect. Video card? Any 'newer' ones but good in the price range... Trial and error but it helps... don't ask about my computer  |
