disappearing files?

yesterday there was a galaxy mod pack on bcfiles, and just after i downloaded it has disappeared/removed from the site.(thx for the god I've downloaded it before this happened). Another: 2 days ago I saw something new version of c2_scimitar (I'm not sure about this). but yesterday i couldn't find it. I'm just curious why these files have been removed.

The Gal Mod Pack was taken down because it contained MVAM core files, don't worry, it will be back up soon. I would recommend you reinstall MVAM afterwards though.

No idea about the others.
