1.2 and 1.21 can I make them work together?

I downloaded the 1.21 patch but now i cant play the servers on the 1.2 and I am with a clan on 1.2. I downloaded 1.21 so I could play the bfv arsenal and eve of destruction. You think you could play both. If someone can help please do.
