Spawn Point Error

My friends having this problem when trying to play
He can choose a point on the Map but it keeps saying spawn point not selected even tho their is one choosen.

He had a fix for it but reformated to get it working again and cannot find it does anyone have any suggestions?

He has windows xp
with an nvidia card

BFV is 1.21

The CD just has an error on it. Best luck with fixing it.:(
