Multiplayer local Crash

[Lost in Space]

Hello
I have two pc's lan'ed together (Ethernet) and I can get as far
as the loading of the "Level" like Ho chi man trail etc.
and as soon as its fully loaded the whole game vanishes and i am back to the desk top on the second pc.
the first one is waiting for 1 player..

No anti virus on either pc,
No firewalls
(There never online)
both have the ipx/spx 802.3
and a generic 00.00.00.00 addy
I.e. 6 allow everything and anything settings..
(This is from EA's online tech )
XP home sp1 on both.
Both p4's ,Geforce 5200 on one w/latest driver
The other I have no idea but 512 of ddr ram and it plays fine on single player.

If your using a router, it has a built in firewall...this is probably less than a 100.00mbps connection(shared between two pcs)! Check to see what the speed is and make sure its more than that (100.00)..I play 2 computers lan together and that was my problem...Had to purchase a faster one......POE though keeps crashing my computers when we play coop...can't figure it out
