Well, without pulling your hair out, I'd just reinstall the game again, then try applying the patch. Make sure you uninstall it and remove all items relating to BFV. (save your control file)
I had to do this before also.

i installed vietnam but when i try to connect to any server it says wrong version,but i tried installing each and every patch but it still comes up it says u currently have 1.21 installed closing installation now.But when i check custom game it says i have version 1.0.What to do?

ya i get the same resolt...i go into custom game it says i have version 1.0 not 1.21 i downloaded the full 1.2 and the incremental of 1.2-1.21 so can anyone help??

my friend has 1.21 and no filters set, but he only gets 3 servers. would this be something to do with his internet security or something else?

i install all patches..but now, when i click on the shortcut in my desktop the game open for 3 seconds and after these 3 seconds the game close...

i think is because Directx9.0a and previous versions are not supported.. i dont know what version ii have.. im going to check...
