Get a program called Reg Organizer and delete all the files in the Uninstall Menu and Software tabs that has to do with Battlefield Vietnam... including the Punkbuster for Battlefield Vietnam files.

Had the same probs. That sucks. Did remove all known/visible Data in Files an Reg but all I could do was entering my EA GAMES CODE from the booklet - the installation ended. I am so depressed from that shit. Spent hours on that problem. Just wanted to install it new because I had a problem with online Playing after "cleaning" my harddrives. I mean how can companies sell prioducts which BASIC BASICS dont work?! Its like selling cars without igbnition. EA games: thanx 4 nothing!

This one took me quite a while but its so simple it sickens me. If you want to uninstall battlefield vietnam, press the uninstall button on the startup menu(were you select play game and stuff) When you get to the part where it asks you to select the ones you want to install just DE-select the ones you want to uninstall ( it even says it at the top duh).
So easy yet so hard. Hope it helped

icon_question Re: Install/uninstall not an option

When i go to uninstall bfv a mesage pops up that says:

An installation support file could not be installed.

Catastrophic failure.

At first i thought it was a virus issue but it only happened with bfv (maybe it is a virus). Will MainLan Dog's method work for my problem, or is there sumthing else i got to do?
