Skinning vehicles question

I just started trying to skin things in Vietnam yesterday and I can get Weapon Skins to come out perfectly, but when I do the exact same process with Vehicle skins, it doesn't. (Skins won't appear in game) Is the weapon skinning process the same as the vehicle? Please help me.
