And yet more Cd Key problems

Hello all. I just got this game for Christmas brand new. Have tried about ten times to instal but it just keeps telling me my key is invalid.

I've checked and double checked the key, shut down everything none essential on my system, and upgraded my graphics drivers. Just get the same message over and over. Invalid key!!!:(

I've tried the website suggested in the read-me, and also the technical support link on the setup screen. Both are pretty much useless. Not quite sure what to do now. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Where was the game bought? Some times people will open games in stores to steal the CD key.

Try to take it back and exchange it for another copy

Hello, thanks for the reply. Well I dont know where it was bought, as it was a present. The family member who gave it to me, I only see once a year:(

And the game was sealed in its original selefane (sp?). The key was inside on the back of the manual, so no-one could have stolen it.

I should point out this is the uk dvd rom version

Some times keys are case sensitive, so make sure you type it in exaclty as it is shown on the manual.

Also, make sure you don't mix up 0 and O. I tend to do that.

Well the key input screen automaticaly defaults to capital letters (which it needs) anyway. And I have no O or 0 in my key. I've tried everything I can think of. My code is just invalid. Dont see why I should have to pay $10, or whatever it is, for a new code:(

Occasionally, you're unlucky enough to get a CD key that's been caught by a keygen or various other warez method.

Usually, if there's proof of purchase, you can contact the company's support staff and they'll help you straighten it all out.
