How do I change the number of command points for the armies in War of the Ring mode? I want to be able to play with huge armies like in the movies and stuff, but I don't feel that 450 command points is enough.
Thanks,
-Tych
what do you mean? are you talking about the world command point limit, the army command point limit, or the ingame command point limit? to increase world command point limit, build more farms, and u can edit it at the end of gamedata.ini to change initial cp. for the army command point limit, i dont remember where the parameter to change that one is, though i think its at the end of the gamedata.ini as well. to change ingame cp, that is also in gamedata.ini.
to access these, download the final big editor from lotrfiles.com and open up your ini.big file inside your main bfme, bfme2, or rotwk directory (make a backup first!) then scroll down on the left until you find the gamedata.ini.
open it up, go near the bottom to edit most cp options. also, to edit the amount of cp granted by certain buildings ingame, go to that specific building inside the gamedata.ini and the parameter to edit the amount granted per building should be in there. your welcome
I know how to edit the .big files, but I am not so familiar with them. I am referring to the army command point limit. I will check at the end of gamedata.ini
Thanks
yeah, at the end of the gamedata should be the whole collection of command points and just change them or download my mod that increased the cp for everything.
hmm, i just recommend searching all over the ini.big file, though this is a long and tedious process, and almost certain to give you a headache I'll take a look for you and see if I can make anything of it. If I can, I'll post a mod with a how-to so you can download it, or make your own.
Right at the the end of gamedat.ini it should be there look carefully, multiplayer command point factor and stuff like that, edit that and i think it should work.
