can battlefield 2 complete collection run on vista> i am having problems once installed to get the game to play

I don't have Vista, myself... but I'm aware of some users experiencing issues with installation; and more especially, connecting to servers.

Have you patched it? If that doesn't work, try contacting EA and ask them as well as check their FAQ. You will need patch 1.41 which is available here. Hope this helps.

Try running the BF2.exe as administrator (NOT the shortcut that is on the desktop. The BF2.exe you want to do this on is in your BF2 install folder)

Right click on the .exe and go to properties, in there somewhere is a option to run the program as administrator.
