To be honest, the words "celeron", and "good system" simply aren't compatible, a Celeron is a very poor processor for games, however even given that drawback, the requirements for the game only specify a Celeron D 1.7, FX 5700 and 512 Mb ram on XP.

However you have omitted crucial details we require. First, what OS? If Vista, the system requirements of Vista are so great that running BF2 on Vista with a Celeron CPU could very well be a killer. Second, what monitor and resolution are you running at, and what AA and AF settings are you running, a large monitor (ie:22" Viewsonic @1680x1050) with AA and AF up full could also be a problem, but since you are running yours on low settings what about drivers? If you are running Vista the early drivers were very buggy so you may need to update your drivers.

If you can get back to us with more info we will see what we can do to help further.

Try unchecking CPU1 in the affinity of "BF2.exe"
Doubt it will work though.
