If so try changing the res and refresh rate in the configuration files to a lower level adn see what happens.
Go here; (substitute your user name for "administrator")
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles
Enter each profile folder and edit the file video.com, you will see a line like the following. Edit it to read as this line does, save and test.
VideoSettings.setResolution 800x600@60Hz
If it still doesn't work then delete the texture cache. Go to this folder and delete all files and folders you find.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Battlefield 2\cache
