Black Screen crash

every time i start up BF2 demo, the screen just goes black and crashes... it gives me no errors or anything, just crashes and goes back to my desktop... how can i fix this problem?

i have a
Pentium 4 CPU 2.40 GHz
512 MB of RAM
a NVIDIA Geforce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8x

Not supported. No way, no how, no sir.
You would need a new video card.

Yes, that video card is like, bronze age or something. Replace it mucho haste. You don't have to spend a lot, an x300 or x1300 will run BF2 well on low settings.

But your CPU and RAM will also need an upgrade, else your CPU will bottleneck the graphics card, and more RAM is just good.
