LAN Multiplayer Coop Hello troops,Could some one give me advice. I am trying to start a multiplayer game with my friend over the LAN, but there are only two of us. We have a very slow connection so can not really play on the net, so I was wondering is there a way to set it up so we have computer soldiers to fight against in the multiplayer Lan mode? If there is a patch, could you please tell me where exactly it is, and if you have tried it for yourself, because often people make recommendations without trying it out first. Also could you give directions on how to install it, some of these patches are a bit tricky or if it just straight forward installation. Thanks in advanceAnatoly |
Re: LAN Multiplayer Coop There are a couple coop mods out now... just search the forums for it or someone should be along shortly with the names. |
Re: LAN Multiplayer Coop THere is a such thing as the "coop" mod. I just have not yet figured it out. Me and my freidns (3 of us total) usually lan at my friends house. He has cable with a speed booster, (tested at T3 speeds) so I hav never tried it. Let me see if I can find a link. Here you are my friend...http://battlefield2.filefront.com/files/search/?keyword=Coop+Mod...results |
Re: LAN Multiplayer Coop coop mod still wont let you make a lan game with bots you have 2 make like a singleplayer server somehow i know u can do it |
Re: LAN Multiplayer Coop Yes, with co-op mod you start a SP game and the other players join the game using the IP address of the computer running th eSP game, the instructions should be included with the mod. AK :smokin: |
Re: LAN Multiplayer Coop From the link, it appears this mod does give you bots for coop. Please post back if you use it and let us know how it went. Also if it affects your BF2 when you try to play vanilla multiplayer. I have not installed any mods or maps to mine for fear that my BF2 install will get corrupted. |
