Asking for disc 2

Hi,
I loaded bf2 and tried to play it but it keeps asking me to insert disc 2 to start the game.
I insert disc 2 and try again and again but it keeps asking for it like it does not recognize it.
I have tried disc 1 and disc 3 but nothing seems to work.
Anyone else have this problem and who may know the fix.

hey bud i have the damned problem also i noticed a smalll small burn mark on the egde of the cd
that could be it but all i have done is load the game so this angers me lol i could use some help lol

Take it back and get a replacement if the disk is defective. Don't take no for answer, just keep at them till they do.

Then you may have something on your computer that is causing the copy protection software in the game to kick up, like Clone CD or alchohol 120% or the notorious patin-couffin driver problem.

lmao i just got a new setup a MSI k8n neo2 ,raedon 9600, new amd athlon processor 3000+,120 gb drive , 1gb of ram . lol and 5 diff flushes on the old mother board and ya grrrrr lol and i havent installed much other than a game or so might defrag ,only had this running for mabey 4 weeks at most well i'll root around sniff out my problem thank for the advice.

sounds like a very serious problem because my game asks for disc 1 to play not disc 2 or 3.

ok guys i got it working it asks for dc you click ok then insert disc 1 and auto run runs just fine

I think I know what happened.

When you load the game it asks you to insert
Battlefield 2 Install Disc

Like me when i first loaded the game Ii saw the 2 and assumed they ment disc 2
Silly mistake but it happens to the best of us.
