BF2 unlocks w/o cheats?

Can someone either tell me or give me a link, for how to unlock new weapons e.g the SA80 (my fave weapon ever in real life and games)without using cheats, so i can play with them in multiplayer thanks

To unlock and use that weapon online, you'll have to play on ranked servers until you get two promotions (which is when your global score reaches 1000). Just keep checking your BFHQ stats in the ingame menu, and you'll see where you're at. Once you are able to unlock a weapon (of your choice), it will let you know.

do you get promotions by playing well as a team, or just wasting the hell out of everyone? because i played just played a ranked server for hours and the lttile bar thing did not go up :S

As for the weapons, you gotta play to get em'. I got the m95 and its meh, go with the Sa-80 when you get it.

Just like Pethegreat shows above. The code I used is below, but I also modified the colors a bit, so there's extra stuff at the end of my code that I can't show here, as it doesn't work in the php script for some reason.
