Noob question but im still stuck!!

This is really annoying me, i tried asking in the servers when playing but not response (suprise suprise!). I am a pretty decent squad leader, i use mic, always give relivant orders ect. but there is 1 drawback for me. I still have not worked out how to place markers on map. I can do it by looking at the place through the ironsight but thats it. This means im stuck if i wanna place a marker somwhere i cannot see! - please help.

you'll have to explain in detail and not just give default keys coz i changed all mine. Thanks.

Well, bring up your squad screen (the one with the tab next to the spawn screen), and right click. This will bring up all the symbols you can place, so just left click on the one you want and it'll be sent to your squadmates.
