GF4 Vid card maybe fix!

Found this a few minutes ago, maybe a fix for ppl with older GF4 vidcards, worth a try at least!

Hope this helps : Ok, I finally figured out how to fix that damn crash to desktop error when using a GF4TI card.

1) download the Microsoft Framework, do a search on google (+download +microsoft framework)

2) download DXTweaker: http://mrbauer.net/files/dxtweaker.rar

3) Extract to a folder on desktop

4) Run DXTweaker, and goto "New" on the right

5) Point it to your root BF2 EXE (in your EA Sports\battlefield 2\ DIR)

6) Check the 2 boxes that contain 'SHADER' , one is FORCE PP SHADER OTHER IS PS SHADER or something of that sourt

7) Click Apply, and then click RUN on the top..

I tried this and it some what worked. I was able to get the menu, put all options on lowest but it would still crash when the game fully loaded going into single player. Oh well just enough to make me want to try and get a new video card even more lol.

I have tryed everything and I go to my shaders file the is nothing in my shader file. I flound a folder called shaders_cilent.zip it's some kind of winara archive. Ok i go in the folder i find all kinds of shader but nothing the says FORCE PP SHADER OTHER IS PS SHADER. Help. I heard this game is better then Joint OPs.
