Bf 2 Demo Wont Startup

Hey, My cpu doesnt Start Bf2 Demo. 3 second black screen then crash to desktop. I dont know why but my specs are ok.

Re-install and maybe its your refresh rate, try to lower that.
Did it have an error message?

Same here. Every time I start up BF2 I get a black screen for 5 seconds and then I get a windows error report message saying that it needs to close. I know that I have a low end machine but I figured if I can run BF1942 and Desert Combat I could play BF2. I knew the map loading would be very slow but I was hoping I could AT LEAST play BF2.

80GB harddrive
FAT 32 system
NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX 400

I'm thinking it might be the memory or the video card. But I've heard that you can run BF2 on 256 of RAM. I dont know maybe someone can help me out on my situation.

You need a monimum of a 5000 series FX card, such as a Geforce FX 5500 or better. A Geforce 2MX400 isnt even close.

you need at least 512mb of ram which is what i have but thats scrapin the bottom of low end also its probly you graphics card since you need both a supported card and and a card that has 128mb

im staying at a friends house for a few weeks and was wondering if his pc specs would work. pentium 4 CPU 2.66 GHz, memory 510RAM, 64 mb video card-> intel(R) 82845G graphics controller.

Uhhh I'm thinking of asking my freind to DL it and I can pop to his house with a disc and burn it so I can play it (He has mega super ultra connection and I got 512k), but I just want to know how you dudez think my comp will run it... Or is it not worth the time?
