New Mod- No Fly Zone

Hello Gang. This is the No Fly Zone mod leader for BF2. This mod is going to improve gameplay, with the Aircraft the Helicopters. For our plans, so far we will only be making Planes/Helicopters for USMC. Later on will be MEC and China. Below is a list of what we wlll be making.

++++++++++USMC++++++++++
- The Little Bird ( Featured in Black Hawk Down )
- Apache
- A-10
- F-14 Tomcat
- Huey

++++++++++What We are Asking From You++++++++++
- Modeler (2-3)
- Skinner (1-2)
- Mapper (About 1, already have 1.)
- Coder (1-2)

We ask people to join up and make this a wonderful mod.

I've have already started on an Apache(which you can see in the Apache thread in the section below.
Your free to use it if you want. When Im finished of course.

Sure can, I need an Importer to open Maya .mb files in 3ds Max 6 or newer. Im having trouble finding one, I believe may not exist since the .mb format is a binary format. But if you know of one that woulb be great.

Sounds like a sweet mod. I was disapointed to find out that the A-10 and AH-64 weren't in BF2.

No offense (I am just trying to be helpful); but you will need to make the game balanced if you want people to play it. Dont start off making a whole lot of stuff for one team and forget about the others.

Yes. I'am aware of that. Thats why there's a little sceret coming that i'am not releasing. (hint=Sting....)

Okino PolyTrans is supposed to do that, i think. Also try exporting to Wavefront Object (.obj + .mtl) (when in maya). Just make sure you have the obj2max installed and running in 3ds.

Hey thepencil ive added you on msn but youre never logged in. Im starting to learn mapping pretty good now. All my maps are functional from the start and i never get any problem with the editor.
