Hi mate,

You certainly can. The movies are stored in this folder;

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Movies

Keep in mind that each mod has their own movie folder for that particular mod, ie for Desert Combat;

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\Desertcombat\Movies

It's a simple matter of either deleting it or renaming the folders so that the game can't find them. I suggest renaming them, you may upgrade someday and want to have them play.

Once you have done that the manu backgrounds will be plain black.
