Crash Reboot
 

Whenever I play Battlefield 1942 In single player mod It will crash and reboot my system after I have finished a map. I can play any map all the way through but when I am done and It goes to the continue sceen It will crash and reboot my system before I can push continue. I have never had this problem before It just started a few days ago. Now I can not finish a map In singleplayer mod.

Here Is a overview of my System

Intel Pentium 4 2.95ghz
Geforce FX 5200 256mb
starstorm 52.13 drivers
AC97 Audio
512mb Ram
windows XP

ok I'm not sure what the "starstorm 52.13 drivers" are, but if those are the new "leaked" version of the Nvidia drivers then I would dump them immediately. I have read nothing good about them & that in some cases they have distroyed otherwise good video cards.

You know i have the same thing happen with my other computer.

Athlon XP 2700+ 2.17 GHz
MSI KT4V Motherboard
Gigabyte Radeon 9700 PRO (128 megs)
512 PC 2100
40 gig IBM HD

And MAJOR PITA you must overclock cuz a 2400+ is only 2 GHz :P

Hi Ifritlvl99,

3 Weeks old this thread, maybe bumping it the top was a bad idea? He would have been back by now if it was still playing up.

Oh yes Ifritlvl99, MAJOR PITA does overclock, says it in his specs right here, "Athlon XP 2400+ @ 2237.4mhz ~ 149.2 x 15", FSB overcloked from 133 to 149.2 Mhz. At 133 it gives him 1995Ghz.
