Galactic Conquest Crashing

Whenver I try to play Galactic Conquest online, BF1942 crashes and returns me to the desktop. I have a pretty powerful PC at 512MB of RAM, Pentium 4 2.20GHz, nVidia GeForce4 Ti 4600. I was wondering whats the problem and if any one has experienced this as well.

Yes I get this too, i have the .2 patch and the .3 GCX which extracted to a new folder, which I thought was wierd but oh well, I get to 100% and I crash to Desktop when trying to connect. Please note this doesn't happen for BF1918, DC, or BF1942 AT ALL :S

Exactly the same problem here. Somebody tell me what the hell is going on with this mod? Everyone says how good it is.
