Fingerprint Error

hey...
when i try to load bf1942 it gives me an error. The error says "LOADING ERROR: Could not find fingerprint!"

Hmmm. Sounds like you have a pirated copy of Bf1942. Im not saying you do. If you did in fact get a Pirated copy of Bf1942 your best bet is to go out and buy the real thing. Each BF cd comes with a cd key so since you have an illegal copy its not there. Peace

This is what I see on the inside of my eyelids in the morning.

"Loading Error: could not find brain, apply coffee and reboot" :lol:

But seriously, I have not seen this error before on any forum I have been in and a search of help forums show only two other posts both BF1942 related. One claimed it started happening after he upgraded to 1.3, so it could be an installation error. On the other hand I also found this:

HA HA, you tryed to add the 1.2 or 1.3 to a game u prob didnt buy and you dont have a crack

So it sounds like it happens if you apply a crack to the game, then try to upgrade it using an official patch, oops!

If this is not in fact the case please let me know and we will continue ot work on it otherwise please seek assistance elsewhere.
