Sound help pls
 

Sound help please......before 1.31 came out someone had posted a thread how to go into one of the ini files and change a setting to increase mem used for sound...anyone know how to do this to cut out some of the cracking chatter? I still get it.thanks

soundblader xgamer 5.1 with updated drivers..P4 1.3
256Rdram...

not sure but i have aidigy 2 and i have sound problems. they r not major just little pop noises

i get pops and crackles to. but it only happens when there is alot going on. :confused:

Thanks..that is what mine is doing too..I just know there is a pretty simply remedy to this that I read about right when patch 1.3 came out..which involved going into one of the game files and enlarging the mem used to process and run the sound...just cant figure out where I read it.....;(

i have a fix for you, why dont you throw your computer out the window. would that fix it?

Actually Pvt. Zab I was looking for more constructive fix than that.if you have anything to add that is helpful..I'd appreciate it.....otherwise I dont quite understand your comment......seems a waste of your time to write and a waste of my time to read...just a thought.

I was having major crackling issues and I solved it by doing a fresh install.
