Account won't log in

Hi fellas, new problem for me. The splashscreen appears, i click to login to account server and then..................nothing. First time ive ever had this problem does anyone know if the account server is down?
Just in case here's my specs:

AMD64X2 3800+
2 X 6600GT SLI
2GB DDR400
ASUS SLI DELUXE
2 X 74GB WD RAID 0
WIN XP PRO
AUDIGY 2

No changes to anything hardware or software, no viruses found, no adware found, Forceware 81.85 drivers put on last week and they have been fine too.

I got a question i already now the servers are down but i can log on and what is with this. Im corpal and on every ranked server it shows me as Private and i have all the new weapons from the update. Anyone else have this problem
