Salute Soldiers
I have a problem. I have just bought a new screen, Sony SDM-HS94P, that is a 19" TFT screen, with resolution in 1280x1024
My old Grafixx card was an Asus Geforce4 Ti4200, and i have just bought a new one Asus Geforce6600GT
But the problem is, the screenresolution i BF/DC can only be in 1280x960?? I can only in the video setting take that resolution and not higher. My Windows XP, and World of Warcraft runs in 1280x1024 without problems, but not BF.
I also have have Lord of the ring - The battle for middle-earth, where i also only can choose the resolution 1280x960
Any one that know why?? Can we solve the problem with a patch or any other program
I have the newest drivers from Nvidia, and also the latest Sony driver for the screen.
Plz Help

Discussion Thread Response (EA Tech Marc C.)02/25/2005 01:48 AMHello,
Thank you for contacting us here at Electronic Arts Technical Support,
We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but the video card automatically detects the resolution that it can support. The video card can also run in higher resolutions in other games depending on the system requirements of the game. Sorry but thats the only resolution that it could support for the game.
Thank You,
Marc C.

Response (Box Emmanuel R.)02/24/2005 12:36 AMHello,
Thank you for contacting us here at Electronic Arts Technical Support,
The game's resolution is auto-configured. Your video card automatically configures the available resolution for the game. Unfortunately, you cannot edit or change the resolution.

Response (Box Emmanuel R.)02/23/2005 08:44 PMHello,
Thank you for contacting us here at Electronic Arts Technical Support,
In order to best troubleshoot your issue, I'm going to need some more system information. Can you send me the information from a program called dxdiag.exe. To do this:
· Go to Start -> Run.
· In the box, type the following: dxdiag
· Click "OK"
· Click the "Save All Information" button on the first screen of the application.
· Then on top of the "Save As" box that pops up, select Desktop (if it's not set to save there already), then click Save.
· Finally, attach the dxdiag.txt to your email reply.
After we receive this file we can continue troubleshooting the issues at hand and hopefully come to a solution.
