If you haven't done so already I suggest immediately upgrading all your drivers to the latest. While your PC may still be working ok without upgrading the drivers it doesn't mean that they are 100% compatible with XP, and that is likely causing the problem.
The atidiag.dll error message is obviously to do with your video card drivers (ie: ATIdiag.dll). So get your new drivers and if you still have the problem let me know.
