Default Slow Loading Time

I don't know why, but BF1942 is loading really slow, I used to load up a game a lot faster. I have high speed LAN internet, and 512mb of PC3200 RAM.

If nothing else has changed try defragging, Also your HD may be having space probelms, make sure you have plenty of room on it, windows needs a certain amount for swap file. If none of that helps try checking to see if you have any programs running in the background, also spyware or malware, even viruses, that are hogging CPU time and thus slowing the computer.

Ok, I defragged, but it still takes way too long to load. What should I do?!

When your PC starts up, it checks the memory, it'll show in the first POST screen, on the upper right. See if it says somethin like 524 mb or whatever. If its less than 512, (like 384, if you have more than one stick, or 256 if they both are 256 meg sticks) its possible one stick has gone bad. I had this happen to me once. Replacing the bad stick made it all better

Intel Core2Duo E6750, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R, 2x 1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2/800 PC6400, eVGA 9800GTX+, OCZGameXstream 700W, Audigy 2ZS
