Battlefield v:1.0 need to upgrade

Received game as gift and is version 1.0 need to upgrade to 1.6. What download do I need and where do I go to get it. Have tried 1.06.101 patch but it will not upgrade my version.

Hi mate, you need to download and install 1.6 patch found here http://battlefield1942.filefront.com...nt_Patch;23189

And then the 1.6 to 1.61b patch found here http://battlefield1942.filefront.com..._to_161b;33702

You'll enjoy it, its a great game.
