i dont think you can fix it, i think its just certain maps you play on because i used to have a geforce 4 mx440 and i upgraded to a radeon 9600xt and there was no change in the water wat so ever. And when you say '64MBs ram, i have 512MBs', the mx440 has 64MBs of 'video memory' which is a differant thing to RAM

Re: Green Water

Hmm, I have no shitty green water on any maps, that was a feature of the MX vid cards (they are based on the GF2 core), and other older vid cards because they didn't have the right pixel shader support.

Eagle One, you should have better water now you have upgraded, but it may be a leftover from your MX card, the water effects may be a holdover in DirectX, if you don't have the latest version of DX I suggest getting it, if you do have the latest version and still have the same probem I suggest removing DX and re-installing because if you installed it while your old vid card was in the sytstem it may not have installed the correct pixel shader support for your new card.

have fun guys

I have pretty much the same Video Card and I have green water as well. Though, before I had green water all of the time, now I only have it in freecam. It goes away once I spawn. Does that happen to you?

Re: Green Water

Geforce 4 MX440 driver 4x.x or earlier should not have this problem. I didn't have the problem untill I updated to 61.77 and I've had the problem since. The games however do run a little faster...

I repeat the Water is normal blue with old nVidia Reference drivers.
