Hi Johnsi,

You seem to have slipped out of your thread. However you have it right, when will upgrading ever be out of fashion?

The 32MB is in reference to your vid card memory (it does cause Gf2's, even MX's, came with either 32 or 64).

Don't rush out and buy a new vid card yet, there are other things that are more likely the problem, if all was working right it should play, if somewhat sluggishly cause your system just creeps in for min specs (as far as the info you have supplied is concerned).

First thing to check is virtual memory, also what OS are you running? you didn't mention. However you need allow enough free space of your HDD for the swap file for BF1942 (and it is quite demanding in that regard - if you don't have enough it won't work). If you are running 98 or ME go to START/SETTINGS/CPNTROL PANEL/SYSTEM/PERFORMANCE/VIRTUAL MEMORY. Make sure it is set tolet windoes handle and that there is at least 500 MB of free space on your HDD that is being used for swap.

Let me know how you go
