Where were you?
 
This was posted in the 21cw forums and i would like to post it here. Where were you and what were you doing when the attacks on september 11th occured?

Well i live on the west coast so i had just woken up and turned on the tv at around 5:45AM. As i turned it on the first plane hit the world trade center. then the 2nd one hit, and then the pentagon was struck and the other plane went down in pennsylvania. that was probably the first time i cried since i was a little kid. i was confused, shocked, sad, and angry all the same time. i will always remember that day, it is so vivid still to this day. :(

On 9/11/2001 I was tinkering with my computer when my brother suddenly entered the room. He told me to turn on the TV at once, and there it was... At first I didn't recognize what it was or where it was, I only saw smoke pouring out of some sky scraper. I thought it was the UN building or something but then I saw it was the WTC. It was just minutes after the first attack. I was confused, horrified and anxious to know who in the world could do something like that. But I knew from the beginning that whoever it was, it meant war. It was an attack on democracy and it would change the life of millions of people forever.

Today Sweden is in mourn. Our Foreign Minister died on 9/11/2003 after being stabbed in the guts by a madman when going shopping the day before. It was a vicious attack on the Swedish democracy and our open society. Anna Lindh was loved be the Swedish public and known(?) to the world as an outstanding politician and diplomat. She had a close friendship with American Secretary of State Colin Powell.

may we remember the people who died on september 11th and Foreign Minister Anna Lindh.

hmm... lets see I was at my locker after going coming back from gym. We watched it all day.. our Social Studies teacher had us watchin it all day.

I was at school (I'm not at school anymore). Got home, flicked on the TV and it was on every channel.

Some of the other kids at my school were talking about it like 5 minutes before school started.
