I am a man! jejejeje!!)

Ey Mike, already we will fix ourselves, I feel it for the servant.

On it of "Rubio Albión" is long to count.. The Spanish tongue is full of sinonimos and of figures estilísticas and metaphors.

The popular memory says that all the English you are Blondes (generalizing) and the history says that you are pérfidos (my motives I have, do not sit down offended)

And in your pais there is a great deal of fog, veeery fog, thing that in our pais (above all by the south) is not the predominant time.

Then, there is an expression to call to the children of England called "Los Hijos de la Pérfida Albión" or "Los Hijos de la Rubia Albión" (The sons of the Pérfida / Blond Albión"

And that it comes from: "Albino" (Albino) Signifies White, or of white color "Alba" (?) is the female one shortened a little Albión "Albión" (Albión) is the adaptation that
it has been given from Dawn to England, by the fog (Fog = White ...ok?)

Then, as the English you are Blondes of hair, white of skin, and your country is white. Then we call it "La Rubia Albión" Then the phrase, in serious, elementary Spaniard: "This English has sent us..." And ther People we call it "Rubios Albiones" in singular are "Rubio Albión"

Thi is the key :D

sorry for my terrible english i was using a free translation program
This a ugly englsih ...

Hola Snipers! Hehehe thanks, I understand the subtlety of it now! And it's true - we are Perfidious Albion! ;) At least our ruling class have convinced everybody through the ages...Queen Elizabeth I and her 'explorers' (pirates!) like Francis Drake for you Spanish...The Americans and their War of Independence and, of course, Napoleon Bonaparte called us 'perfidious Albion' many times!

There are even games and magazines:

And, yes, there is much fog and rain here! My friend from Tenerife came to visit London and didn't wan't to leave the hotel! ;D

Salud!

Thanks by understanding it. In the north of Spain does an enough climate calido in summer and very rainy in winter, but in the south.. Is not a desert of course, but the temperatures of 50 degrees in summer (35 at night) are perfectly acceptable in my city, are normal (In degrees celsius).

Therefore at times a great deal of laughter causes us that German, French and other European countries, in summer, they have 2000 or 3000 you died by heat due to some temperatures of 30 degrees. But good, do not be usual and the temperature of the world rises... and rises..

In short, we continue to it ours, you are a good historian, have found us things very very utiles, we are you thanked (above all by the map of Barcelona and by the photo of the UNL 35 sideways of the book "Armored of Spain".

Thanks and olé the eggs of the giri

Re: Mapa de Barcelona

WaW 38 degrees in England? its very temperature ...
But Here , in my city , Jerez ( Jerez = Sherry) I remember ... and I not sure , but i think : Here isn't rain ... I dont rain here than 4 month ...

( I dont recomended you use "Rubios Albiones" more. Some people (My country in general had a ... small "desdén" ( I can't translation , Now I dont use the free transleitor) use this expresion with the word : "guiri" , with this word they reffer at the tipycal tourist extranger , in T-shirt , Shorts in the Beach and with the skin red for the sun . (The sun burn more here)

Because this country is a vacational country now ... We dont resign ... or Better says : I dont resign .
