You did something wrong ( Talk about stating the obvious :) )

When you select the files with Gmakerfa be sure to select "Levels" folder, then click on open.

then fill in a name, for example: "Mymap.RFA" and where you want to save it.

After thet click the scroll menu, and set it to "BF1942".

That should do the trick.

One more thing though, do not compress the file, just convert it to *.RFA, the compressing of the file doesn't seem to be working well.

Hope it works...

i get exactly the same problem using makeRFA, the bf1942 splash screen appears and it looks like the games gonna load up but then nothing happens

i tryed using the .rfa compressor with and without compressing it and get the same thing

after making the .rfa when trying to open it with the .rfa extractor there doesnt seem to be anything in it even though its around 100megs compressed and 150megs uncompressed

as soon as i remove the .rfa i just made (texture.rfa) from the archives directory the game loads fine but just doesnt have textures (which i can understand) until i put the original texture.rfa back in the directory and then the game works fine

There is no need to compress it, It'll act up more when you do.

The reason that battlefield won't start is because the filestructure isn't right.

You have to look at the files after you extracted it, and keep the files on that order.

and when you repack it, Pick the second folder,

For example, when you have made a map the files are ordered roughly like this:

Bf1924 > levels > berlin>files.

If you want to pack that you select:

levels > berlin > files.
(With out the BF1942 folder)
