Gamers assume the identity of X2, a clone trooper created from the DNA of a Jedi Master. Originally tasked with eliminating Jedi during Order 66, X2 decides to leave his blood-stained past behind and joins the Rebellion. X2 isn't the only Force-sensitive clone, however. X1, his clone brother, chooses a much more sinister path, leading to a confrontation that could determine the fate of both the Empire and the Rebellion.

They started on SWBF3 but than that fizzled. They would need something better to come up with for another Battlefront at least for the PC.

i think the only reason they made this was to attempt to make us forget about SWBFIII for awhile

Meh, I have a DS...that I use as an alarm clock...and thats it. I personally think, unless its mario, metroid, or LoZ, DS is not worth it I probably wont get this new swbf game anyways, because it looks a bit...outdated...I suppose older engine and everything. They SHOULD have brought this out for PC/360, but no. They probably have this one coming out to build up hype for star wars battlefront 3, which will be on PC, 360, PS3 and possibly wii. I cant wait for swbf3, but I am still waiting for that faimed star wars battlefront 1.3 patch....

No, I have seen footage of it. Its not on youtube, and it was with a video camera but I saw footage of it...And I know my battlefronts from head to toe, and this was nothing like I have ever seen before...and I know fore sure it wasnt first strike mod or something. Looked rely amazing, though taken a few years ago when free radical had its...problems. SWBF3 is going to come out though, I know it is.

SWBF3 sounds good but also sounds untrue. Elite Squadron sounds decent. But it being an a handheld, ugh! Bungie needs to buy the rights and try a clone based starwars game.

What I'm wondering is what if that leaked footage a long time ago was actually of ES and not BF3, after all the first BFs were realesed pretty close together and it's been years...

No cos it the game looked and performed too well to be a PSP game, but after watching it again i got a bad thought

I think that the elite clone idea WAS originally SWBFIII, since there is a clone without a helmet shown in the gameplay and from the cutscenes he looks like an important character. And there was a clone with a vibrosword fighting obi wan who might be the evil brother X1.

I hope this isnt true cos if it is then SWBFIII is doomed (why else would they use the same storyline in 2 games?)
